I believe in the power of storytelling. I believe stories truly allow each of us to find a way to connect with one another. And once we connect with one another, we have the power within us to change the world.
My name is Marlee Middlebrooks, and I’m a May 2018 graduate of the University of Georgia. I was a dual degree student and earned my Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a photojournalism concentration as well as my Bachelor of Arts in communication studies.
I am so glad that you have found yourself viewing my digital portfolio. Here, you can check out the work I produced during my time at UGA as well as my personal blog.
While in college, I was the Editor in Chief of UGAzine for the spring 2018 issue, and I produced work for UGAzine from 2016-2018. I was also a feature writer for Her Campus at UGA and a beat reporter for The Red and Black.
When I’m not writing or behind the camera, you can definitely find me in the Chick-fil-A drive thru or catching up on the current reality TV craze—my all time favorite show being Survivor.
